August through October are peak season in Boulder County, and we are currently seeking Field Hands & Farm Store Staff.
AS CONCERNS THE FIELD HAND POSITIONS…
It’s August and the work’s heavy and intense through the end of the season (November 15) now that we’re into melon, and then quickly into winter squash and pumpkin season. Qualified applicants will be field tough, have a positive attitude and the ability to show up on time Monday through Friday, ready to work hard.
We would love to hear from you if … you have at least one full season at a production (5+ acres) produce farm under your belt; solid related references; a true passion for growing food, a great work ethic and staying power, please carefully read and answer all the questions below. A clean driving record and the ability to drive stick is a plus. If hired, you can expect to work at least five days and sometimes six days per week (an average of 40-65 hours/week). Isabelle Farm is a no-smoking, no-alcohol workplace.

AS CONCERNS THE FARM STAND POSITIONS…
We are looking for people who can work WEEKDAY MORNINGS (8:30-1:30), and/or SATURDAYS and/or SUNDAYS. Applicants must have retail sales experience, as well as experience working in the fresh food industry–ideally in the produce section of a grocery store.
> a keen understanding of the local food scene and the good food movement
> food safety and food handling experience
> exceptional customer service
> knowledge of and interest in merchandising and quality control
> ability to lift heavy boxes of produce weighing as much as 50lbs.
The ideal candidate will be available beginning immediately and through the end of December, with the ability to work at least 4 days/week, including one weekend shift. Opportunity for year-round, hourly employment exists.
