We’re well into the season, and the quantity of produce that needs to be cared for, harvested and sold increases weekly through the end of October. As such, we hire clear through September. Right now, we’re looking for an Irrigation assistant, a few experienced Field Crew Members, two Post-Harvest hands (2-3 days per week), as well as a two Farm Store Team Members. For all positions, applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs and have an upbeat, get-it-done attitude.

We aim to get back to qualified candidates within 7 business days. Sometimes our workload gets the better of us and we fall behind. Never hesitate to follow up. This is a very busy time of year for us, so we will only be able to respond to those candidates whose applications clearly demonstrate they meet the job requirement criteria.

Qualified applicants will be field tough, have a positive attitude and the ability to show up on time Monday through Friday, ready to work hard, as well as on the occasional Saturday.

We would love to hear from you if … you have at least one full season at a production (5+ acres) produce farm under your belt; solid related references; a true passion for growing food, a great work ethic and staying power, please carefully read and answer all the questions below. A clean driving record and the ability to drive stick is a plus. If hired, you can expect to work at least five days and sometimes six days per week (an average of 40-65 hours/week). Isabelle Farm is a no-smoking, no-alcohol, equal opportunity workplace.

If you have previous related experience and meet all of the qualifications listed on this page and are truly interested in working for a production produce farm through the end of the season, we look forward to hearing from you.

If you love being outdoors and all things fall and are looking to earn a little extra cash on weekends, this may be the perfect gig for you. Pumpkin Patch team members are largely tasked with creating a great experience for guests, talking with guests, ringing up sales, hauling and restocking pumpkins and winter squash, and doing whatever is needed to keep the pumpkin patch looking great and running smoothly. The work can be itchy and hot (if you’ve ever moved straw bales or corn bundles, you know what we’re talking about). All work will happen on Saturdays and Sundays during the 5 weekends from September 29 through October 31st. Creative, merchandising and retail skills are a plus! A can-do attitude is required.

Applicants must have retail sales experience, as well as experience working in the fresh food industry–ideally in the produce section of a grocery store.

Requirements include:

> a keen understanding of the local food scene and the good food movement
> food safety and food handling experience
> exceptional customer service
> knowledge of and interest in merchandising and quality control
> ability to lift heavy boxes of produce weighing as much as 50lbs.

The ideal candidate will be available to work at least 3 days/week, including one weekend shift. Opportunity for year-round, hourly employment exists.

If interested … and you meet the above requirements, have a true passion for quality food and the local food movement, and can be counted on to show upon time, every time you’re scheduled, please reply by providing the information requested below.
