Throughout the year, we host a handful of special events. Some are simple gatherings, others are harvest celebrations or fundraisers for area nonprofits, and a few times per year a local band will come treat our community to a live show at the Barn at Thomas Open Space.
We also feature a handful of farm dinners at the home farm. These are special table-to-farm events, featuring some of our favorite partner chefs, including ZOLO Executive Chef Justin Goerich and Chef Alex Krill of JAX Fish House Boulder.
On Saturday, December 5, 2:30-4:30, come enjoy an afternoon of cooking, eating and stories with Shari Leidich, founder of Two Moms in the Raw. Shari had a life-changing experience when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2004. Through her research, she discovered that by consuming a plant-based diet that was mostly raw, she could control her MS. Her diet became her savior. She launched her healthy snack company and is now debuting her cookbook that “features simple, clean and irresistable recipes for you and your family’s healthy,” explains Shari. “What you eat can truly change your life–it certainly did mine.” The event will feature: A cooking demonstration, cookbook signing, product samples, tastings and giveaways, goodie bags for the first 10 guests and a Q&A with Shari.
On Saturday, December 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., join us for our Annual Holiday Open House, featuring food, art and free activities for kids. Come meet the local artists, artisans and chefs and buy holiday gifts that help keep our community thriving with nutritious, locally-sourced foods and hand-crafted, fair trade arts and crafts. Besides, it’s simply a great time! Our fine selection of Christmas Trees, Wreaths and Garland will be 10% off that day, too!
Every fall, we host the Annual GROWE Foundation Fish-to-Farm Fundraiser Dinner Join us on the veranda at the Barn at Thomas Open Space for an al-fresco five-course fish-to-farm dinner prepared by chefs from Jax Fish House and the Big Red F Restaurant group, highlighting freshly picked produce from Isabelle Farm. Overlooking the farm, with views of the Rocky Mountains, it’s sure to be one of your most memorable culinary experiences. All proceeds benefit the Growe Foundation’s Garden to Table Programs in BVSD.
